Dihydroxyacetone is a color additive that reacts with amino acids on the skins surface to darken the skin. The amount of DHA in a product correlates to you how dark the tan will be. 14% is the maximum concentration of DHA the skin can absorb. GlowPro mousses were intentionally designed with less instant bronzer to limit this. We recommend wearing dark, loose-fitting clothing after tanning while the color develops. After you rinse off the instant bronzer, transfer should not be an issue. If you do experience color transfer, GlowPro is water-soluble and should wash out with normal laundering.

On average, the tanning mousse results will last 5 days. Good exfoliation prior to application, limited exfoliation post-application and avoiding body products with harsh chemicals will prolong your tan. Checkout the Blog section of our website for more tips on how to make your tan last.

Hand wish the mitt with a mild detergent every 2-3 uses. Rinse clean and air dry. Mitts should be replaced every 6-12 months depending on use.

All GlowPro products are fragrance free which makes them a great fit for sensitive skin. Some DHA/"tanning smell" may occur as the product interacts with your skin but it's individual to every person, their skin, and the environmental factors around them.

Each product will have a different expiration which you can find on the individual product description webpage or on the bottle. To reach the full shelf-life, the products must be stored upright in a cool, dark, dry place away from sunlight. Using the products beyond the expiration date will likely result in a less effective tanning experience.

DHA is a FDA approved ingredient and only effects the stratum corneum (outermost layer of skin). Concerns about DHA's safety typically come from spray tans where the chemical can be inhaled and has contact with membranes.

Many women feel comfortable using GlowPro products while pregnant but you should always check with your physician if you have concerns. We offer our ingredient list on every product page for his/her reference.

Order Information

You can return any new, unused product within 20 days of arrival less shipping charges. For health and safety reasons, any opened products cannot be returned. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Subscription orders are final sale.

A 30 day, used product return policy is available for orders made through Amazon Prime. Prime prices reflect the more flexible policy.

Please enclose a copy of your invoice, packing slip or include your name, e-mail address and order number on a blank piece of paper. Returns received without identifying paperwork will not be processed. Return labels can be provided at your request and the shipping charges will be deducted from your return. When shipping independently, we encourage purchasing tracking for you package as we are not responsible for lost items. Refunds will be processed within one week of receipt via the original payment method. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please notify us within 14 days of receipt for us to remedy it. Products beyond 90 days are not warranted for service.

Subscriptions have a minimum two cycle requirement and can be skipped or cancelled after that by logging into the customer portal. Coupon codes cannot be applied. If you want to cancel your subscription before fulfilling the two cycle minimum requirement, a $10 early termination fee will be charged to pay back the subscription discount.

Having trouble logging into your subscription? For privacy reasons, patrons must elect to create a customer account. Go to the customer portal and create an account with the email address you purchased with and it will sync to your tanning subscription.

Subscribers are responsible managing their upcoming orders. Order modifications or cancellation requests made to customer service must be done via email and at least 48 business hours prior to the upcoming order to be honored.

You will receive automated e-mails with status updates from order placement to package delivery. Sometimes they may be caught by spam filters, so please retrieve them from that folder and mark GlowPro a "safe sender." Transit times are estimated by the carrier and are not guaranteed. 

Expect extending shipping and handling times during holidays and sales. GlowPro does not ship on weekends and follows all US Federal Holidays. 

Shipping options are available at checkout based on region. Costs are based on actual shipping charges and are discounted. Transit times given are the best estimate of the postal carrier and do not include 1-3 days handling time

None of the shipping options available have guaranteed arrival dates by the carrier or GlowPro Tan's. GlowPro ships Monday through Friday and follows all US Federal Holidays.
